Bogachan Dündaralp graduated from İzmir Dokuz Eylül University – Architecture Faculty in 1997. Between 1994-1995 (summers), he did work at the excavation of Metropolis (Torbalı). He did work in Yapı Merkezi Şirketler Topluluğu (Association of Building Center Corporation) between 1999-2005 focusing on the design and application of “building systems”. Since 2005 he is running his own office ddrlp (www.ddrlp.com). Dündaralp is being working on building system for Earthquake areas such as modular school and housing systems, fab-tek® building system with know-how research, prefabricated house and mobile building systems. He got several architecture awards such as: AMV Young Architect Price (2004), two National Architecture Prices (2006) and YEM (Building Industry Center) Award (2008) with “Np12” houses. Dündaralp, was invited with the Stüdyo*KAHEM by curator Hou Hanru to 10. İstanbul Biennial (2007), which he worked on the criticism of modernity and architecture. He collaborated with artist Cildo Meireles in the 8. İstanbul Biennial (2003) and with Oda Projesi on spatial projects. As a writer he wrote for several articles and his projects were presented in architecture and design magazines: Tasarım, Yapı, Betonart, Portfolyo, Arredamento Mimarlık, Yeni Mimar. He was a guest editor of architectural criticism section in Yenimimar.com between 2005-2006. He also do teach and conducts workshops as a guest lecturer at İTÜ and YTÜ and invited as jury member in several architecture competitations.
